How to extract the Certificates out of the hic.psi store

You can export the certificates out of the PSI store. You must know the PSI store password to do this.

Click on the certificate name – then go to Export button on the right hand site.Enter the PSI store password.
Make sure you click the 

Browse to a folder or place on Desktop to save the .p12 private certificate.
Give the certificate a name in the File Name field and include the extension
Click Next

You will be prompted for a P12 password

You can use a new password during exportation.
That will be the exported certificate password to use when installing for the web browser don’t forget to add the Medicare Australia Chain of Trust in the Microsoft crypto store. If you have exported them properly they will look like this.

You can always retrieve the MCA Chain of Trust from

Click on these certificates one at a time and choose  OPEN The click Install  - buttom button.
Accept all the default settings as you go through the Wizard.
Next next etc.
You must install both so the certificate is trusted.

 Hope this helps – give it a try first on a PSI store on your PC with a TEST certificate.
